Numerology

Numerology reduces your date of birth and the letters of your name to single-digit vibrations, each with a settled character. Your life-path number, derived from your full date of birth, describes the broad arc you are here to walk. Your destiny or expression number, derived from the letters of your full birth name, describes the tools you have been given to walk it. When those two agree, life tends to feel coherent. When they pull against each other, the friction is often exactly what a client describes without having language for it.

Alongside those sit the driver number (the day you were born, which governs how you come across day to day), the soul-urge number drawn from the vowels in your name, and the personal-year number that colours the twelve months you are currently in. Together they form a compact profile that is quick to calculate and surprisingly specific to live with.

Name correction adjusts the spelling of a name so its numeric value sits in better relation to your birth numbers — an added letter, a dropped one, a changed transliteration. It is the most requested service in numerology and also the most oversold, so it is worth being direct about it.

A corrected name is a supporting measure, not a replacement for the work. It will not manufacture a career you have not built or a relationship you have not tended. What it can do is remove a persistent mismatch between how you are named and how you are built, which clients most often report as things stopping being quite so uphill. If a correction is not warranted by your numbers, you will be told so rather than sold one.

Where a change is recommended, you receive the exact spelling, the reasoning behind it, and practical guidance on introducing it — which documents genuinely matter, which do not, and how long to give it before judging the result.

The same method applies to anything that carries a name: a company, a product, a trading name, a domain. A business-name analysis checks the numeric value of the proposed name against the birth numbers of the founder, because a name that suits the business but fights its owner tends to produce a company that is hard work to run.

This is most useful before you register, print and build a following on a name. Bringing three or four candidates to a session is far more productive — and considerably cheaper — than rebranding later.

Numerology and astrology are separate systems, and this practice does not pretend otherwise. What makes them useful together is corroboration: when the numbers and the chart point at the same period, the same strength or the same difficulty, the reading stands on two independent legs rather than one.

Many clients book a numerology session as a follow-up to an astrology reading for exactly that reason. It is also the more accessible starting point if you do not know your birth time, since the core numbers need only your date of birth and your name.
