Astrology

A Vedic birth chart — your kundli or janam patrika — is a map of the sky at the exact moment and place you were born. It is not a personality quiz or a monthly sun-sign column. It is a calculated diagram: twelve houses covering the practical departments of a life, nine planets distributed across them, and a rising sign that fixes the whole arrangement to your particular minute of birth.

Read properly, that map explains why certain areas of life have come easily to you and others have taken three attempts. The houses cover concrete ground — the second house money and family, the seventh marriage and partnership, the tenth career and public standing, the fourth home and property. Where the benefics sit, matters tend to flow. Where a difficult planet sits without support, the same effort produces less, and knowing that in advance changes how you plan.

This is why the birth time matters so much. Shift it by twenty minutes and the ascendant can move to the next sign, rotating every house and changing the reading substantially. Approximate times can still be worked with, but they are narrowed down first rather than guessed at mid-session.

Prediction in Vedic astrology rests on two systems working together. The Vimshottari dasha divides your life into planetary periods, each running for a fixed number of years and lending its character to that stretch of time. A Jupiter period and a Saturn period do not feel alike, and they do not reward the same strategy. Transits — the live positions of the planets against your natal chart — then set the finer timing within that longer season, particularly Saturn's two-and-a-half-year passage through a sign and Jupiter's annual one.

Most of the practical value of a reading sits here. Knowing that a supportive period opens in fourteen months changes whether you push for the promotion now or prepare and move then. Knowing you are midway through a demanding Saturn phase reframes a hard year as a season with an end date rather than evidence that something is permanently wrong.

You will be told what the chart supports and what it does not. If the timing for a plan is poor, that is said plainly, along with when it improves and what to do in the meantime.

A consultation is built around the questions you actually bring. Most sessions concentrate on two or three areas rather than skimming all twelve houses, because depth on what is pressing you is worth more than a tour of everything.

Sessions are held by Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp video and voice call, so where you live makes no difference to what you receive. Appointment times are offered in your own zone — AEST, AEDT and AWST for clients in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra, and local times for clients elsewhere in the world. You will never be asked to do the timezone arithmetic yourself.

Your chart is shared on screen and walked through in plain language, in English, Hindi, Gujarati or Punjabi. Afterwards you receive the recording along with a written summary of what was discussed and the specific remedies prescribed, so nothing depends on how well you took notes on the day.
